Hypnotherapy – what it is and is not!
I would like to begin by putting your mind at rest concerning some of the negative misinformation about hypnotherapy, with me Becky at Positive Mind Hypnotherapy Shrewsbury.
Firstly hypnotherapy is not a form of mind control and at no time are you at risk of doing something you do not want to. You will be awake and fully able to move and stop the session at any point.
Hypnotherapy is completely safe and natural state of mind and at no point will you become ‘stuck in hypnosis’.
Hypnotherapy Shrewsbury – What Hypnosis is
It provides you with a deep sense of relaxation allowing me to speak directly with your unconscious mind. By passing the conscious analytical mind therefore allowing the relevant changes to be made within days/weeks rather than years.
Hypnotherapy is based on facilitating positive change and empowering you to see that you are always in control of your life. It is beneficial for you to come to the session with an open mind and a belief that changes can be made.
Issues concerning anxiety, fear, phobias, stress etc can be debilitating and affect every area of your life. Your days may be based around avoidance of your triggers, you may not be leaving your home due to your fears.
I can say with real conviction that you no longer have to live this way! you weren’t born with fears, phobias and anxiety they’re all learnt behaviours. They are result of some unhelpful thoughts and behaviours meaning that with the right support they CAN be changed!
Are you ready to live your day to day life feeling free, making decisions based purely on whether you want to do it instead of based on fear?
